Our available cats and kittens have all been spayed or neutered and are up to date on their vaccinations.  Follow up vaccinations will be required for all adopted animals.  We will provide a recommended vaccination schedule.  We encourage you to follow-up our vaccinations with visits to your own veterinarian.
The Sheena Foundation is a non-profit shelter.  We rely on funding and donations from members within our community.  There is a minimal donation to relinquish ownership of a cat or kitten.  This minimal donation allows us to defray part of the expense of spaying and neutering.

If you are looking for a way to help the homeless animal population, this is a great way to help.  A donation of any size makes a big difference.   If you would like to give a donation, visit our Ways to Help page.

All donations are tax deductible, as law allows.

Who We Are
Kittens
Thanks to everyone who has stepped forward to provide great homes for this season's bumper kitten crop! In hard economic times, finding good adoptive homes can be challenging, and economic pressure often finds people having to give up beloved pets. Here at Sheena, because we are a small, limited admission facility, we've had to make sure we have a good shot at excellent homes before we admit cats and kittens for placement. These are often difficult decisions for all of us.

If you're in the midst of hard times, think carefully about whether you can find a way to honor your commitment to that special cat and keep him or her with you to provide comfort and reassurance and a measure of stability during those hard times. Tough times don't last; tough people do, and that special pet can made it easier for you and your family to come smiling through! Check out this link to a Humane Society Web Site that will help you think through this important decision in a responsible way.
